Closure

This is a page in my organizer that I have been keeping since college.

I copied a poem from a newspaper and wrote it on my organizer to remind me that sometimes you work hard for something that you want but it’s just not meant to be.

P.S. I wish I wrote the author too.

  1. confusing when it hurts both ways, ne? but then letting go is seemingly the wise thing to do… hurt is temporary.

  2. Such a nice poem…
It’s true. But it can be really hard accepting that things you’ve always wanted are not really for you. And it’s more painful to let go.

Oh well, life is really complicated. :D

  3. Is this your handwriting? because it is so beautiful. The poem summarizes unrequited love in just those short lines. I could have believed you wrote that — and I think I know who you wrote that for…:-)

  4. yes, this is my own handwriting but i really didn’t author the poem. however, it captured what i would have written if i wrote something like this.

and yes grace, you know me too well …

  5. Thank you for sharing this beautiful poem. I agree, it’s hard to let go but sometimes we just need to do it in order to move on in life.
